How to Draw a Pineapple in 10 Easy Steps

Step 1: Starting with The Pineapple Fruit

The first step in this easy pineapple drawing is to make a line at the top part of the paper. Make sure it is not right at the top, but more on the upper part of the paper. This will be the starting point of the pineapple fruit or its face.

Step 2: Continuing with The Face

Now, from the left end of the line you drew, make a big C downwards. Repeat this on the right side, only in this case the letter C will be in the opposite direction.

Step 3: Completing The Outline of The Fruit Face

The next step in this simple pineapple drawing for kids is to complete the face. To do this, you will have to connect the big C on the left with the one on the right with a straight line. This image shows what it will look like after the completion of this step.

Step 4: Creating Bold, Big Kawaii Eyes

This is one of the most interesting parts of this tutorial as it involves making attractive and large eyes for your pineapple. Start with drawing a circle on the left side inside the fruit face. Make sure that the circle is towards the top part of the body and big enough to hold smaller circles. Repeat this on the right side to create the outline of kawaii eyes for your pineapple.

After this, draw two smaller circles inside the big circle you drew on the left side of the pineapple face. These smaller circles should lean towards the left side, as you can see in this image. Similarly, draw two smaller circles leaning towards the right side, inside the big right eye you created in the beginning of this step. 

Step 5: Completing the Face with Details

The next step in this step-by-step pineapple drawing is completing the face we started drawing in the previous step. Begin by coloring the space inside the big left eye, created by drawing the two smaller circles earlier, using black color. Repeat this process for the right eye.

To make your drawing appear more beautiful, consider adding eye lashes to each eye. Draw two curved lines, one below the other, on the upper outer corner of the left eye. Following the same technique, draw lashes on the right eye. 

After this, draw a wide U shape between the two eyes to indicate a smiling face. Next, draw a wide downward U above the left eye, followed by the right eye. These are the eye brows that will enhance the overall look of your drawing.

Step 6: Starting with the Crown Sketch

This cute pineapple drawing is incomplete without the crown of the fruit. In this step you will extend a curved line upwards and outwards from the left corner of the face. Repeat the same on the right side. It should look something similar to this image.

Step 7: Continuing with the Crown Sketch

Now, join the top of the curved line you drew (left side) with the top of the face, just like this image you see. It should appear like a curved downward V. Similarly, connect the top of the curved line on the right side with the top part of the face, a little apart from where the other curved line ended. Refer to this image to avoid confusion. These are the leaves of this tropical fruit.

Step 8: Concluding the Crown Sketch

As you can see this cute pineapple drawing come to life, you will realise that there is one final step required to finish making the crown. Draw a downward V shape between the two leaves you just created. The two openings of the V letter should end somewhere in the middle of each leaf, as seen in this image.

Step 9: Completing the Pineapple Drawing

The final step is to draw the pointy spikes that you normally see in this fruit. Create small downward V shapes on the face. Spread them across the entire face of this juicy fruit. 

Draw a heart on the upper right side of the face, followed by smaller hearts on the left and right of the paper outside the face. 

Step 10: Coloring the Pineapple
